Dr. Gayle T. Reardon, DDS
Founder, Collaborative Imaging Specialists
Dr. Gayle Reardon is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial radiologist who has practiced family and adult restorative, aesthetic and implant dentistry for more than 33 years. After completing dental school in 1978 and an adult prosthetic mini-residency at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1979, Dr. Reardon joined her father in private dental practice in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A lifelong student with an insatiable curiosity, she continued to expand her understanding of adult restorative dentistry and her clinical skills at the L.D. Pankey Institute, the Dawson Academy, the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education, the Kois Center, and the Misch Institute. During her years in practice, Dr. Reardon earned accreditation from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, and Diplomat status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Reardon’s interest in adult restorative dentistry led her to continue her professional education and expand her capabilities. In 2008, she entered the oral and maxillofacial radiology program at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, receiving both her master in science degree in stomatology (oral diagnosis) in December 2010 and her certificate in oral and maxillofacial radiology in June 2011.
With her treatment-planning expertise; extensive surgical experience, honed in an implant-based restorative dental practice; and oral and maxillofacial radiology training, Dr. Reardon offers her clients a unique skill-set. She has a breadth of expertise that extends well beyond oral radiology diagnostic services to encompass dental implant surgical and restorative treatment planning guidance, including virtual implant placement, and surgical guide fabrication.
